Find inmates incarcerated in Kansas (KS) State prisons, Federal prison, County jails and the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC).

Step 1: Visit the Kansas DOC offender population search page and accept the disclaimer to proceed to the Kansas Adult Supervised Population Electronic Repository (KASPER), which will appear as below:

Clicking ‘Advance Search’ opens up additional search options, including searches by Social Security Number, State ID (KBI) Number, date of birth/age range, by supervision/conviction county, and more.

Step 2: Enter the Kansas information you have available. If you have a KDOC number, Social Security Number, or State ID Number, enter these to be taken directly to the inmate’s information. Otherwise, enter a minimum of a first and last name, and click ‘Submit’. Be sure to choose to Show Photos and/or Display Thumbnail Photos if you would like to see that option (though this does increase the load time).

Step 3: On the next page, you will see list of present and former inmates matching the information you entered. Additional information includes a date of birth, supervision status, and a KDOC number for future reference. A small profile picture will also be present if available and if selected prior to the search.

Step 4: Clicking on an offender name will take you to a profile page featuring a larger photo (if available and the option is selected), all names and aliases used, demographic information, the current status of the inmate (including all movements), and a list of current and past convictions.

Kansas Registered Offender Search
The Kansas Bureau of Investigation maintains a searchable registered offender list, which includes sex offenders, violent offenders, and more. Searches may be made by name or with a location-based search.

Search results include a small photo, aliases used, and the primary residence of the offender.

Clicking on a name will take you to a detailed offender profile page, including a larger photo (and historical photos, if available), a physical description, information about all addresses and vehicles associated with the offender, a date of birth, and information about the offense committed requiring registration.
